July of last year my long time friend was shooting his T85 ultra light .38 i sold him for a stupid ridiculous price.
When it exploded, there were three of us there. I was to the right of the shooter (sean) and to the left of the other person there (pat). So Im in the middle. The gun explodes on the second shot ( I heard no squibb on the first), i get hit hard in the gut. Immediatly i yell " I just got shot!". What had happened was, the cylinder exploded in the revolver into two pieces. The piece the flew to the right, hit me harder than ive ever been hit before in the groin, right square in my belt. It bounce off my belt so hard that it hit Pat in his pants and cut a perfect right angle through his pants and boxers but did not cut his skin. Sean suffer the most when his hand came forward with the exploding gun and his thumb caught the crane assembly. He was in shock, taken to the hospital and barely has his thumb to tell the tale.
In new at this, if pics dont come out right, please help me figure out how to do this. Pics include, damage to my belt, whats left of the pistol, and damage to my shirt
