1:9 or 1:16 for CCI CB Longs + Gemtech?

Questions for the rimfire crowd...

I'm looking at getting a Tactical Innovations 16.5" Blued, Threaded Bull barrel for a 10/22 that I plan on attaching my Gemtech to. Up until now I've primarily run it on a Walther P22 with CCI CB Longs. Using Aguila is out of the question as it voids the warranty on the Gemtech, but the TacInn barrels come in 1:9 twist and 1:16 twist.

I guess the question is, should I go with the 1:16 twist or the 1:9. They say the 1:9 was designed specifically to run the Aguilla 60g's which I'm not ever going to use. I'm just wondering if I'll get less chance of bad stabilization/keyholing out of the 1:9 with CCI CB Longs... Don't want to go and destroy a perfectly good suppressor.

the light bullets still shoot ok in the 1/9

it just not "optimal" for accuracy.... but you might not even see a difference...
