    New toy....M&P 15-22

I got my belated father's day gift this weekend. The LGS had two day Smith&Wesson "Market Buster Sale" this past weekend and the wifey bought me a new M&P 15-22. The price was right at just $359. My son and I ran a few hundred rounds through it on Saturday and it ran flawlessly. Although it somewhat lighter then my DoubleStar AR-15 the size, fit, and controls are pretty much exactly the same, so it should make for a good economical training device too.

Hey, ZRow1, what (or where) is LGS? I just bought a 15-22 from Shooters of Jacksonville for $389 and thought I got a good deal. Yours is thirty bucks better!

Ft. Thompson in NLR. It was in their Sunday flier the week before Fathers Day, but the S&W sale part was only June 25-26. I normally buy from Hunter's Refuge in Whitehall because it is rare that I find better "daily prices" then they have. Your $389 price is good though. It's rare to see these things less than $450. . .Happy plinking!

Great price on a fun .22 rifle. I have a SIG 522 and I just might get a S&W 15/22 also. If I can get some dealer to match that price its a done deal.
