Which CZ 75 compact variant should,I get the P-01 or the PCR? Are these basically the same gun except for the light rail?
I like both of them....The P-01 get my eye due to the rail for accessories.
The CZ 2075 RAMI in 9mm or .40 S&W is a nice sub-compact and worth a look at.
The P01 9mm with an alloy frame is a very reliable and accurate pistol. Recommend.
I got a P01 earlier this month and couldn't be happier with it. Highly recommended. I don't have any experience with the PCR, but besides the light rail I believe the rear sight is different
The RAMI is indeed a very wide sub compact pistol at 1.5". It is wider than any of my Sigs or 1911 Kimber.
The P01 is also wide at 1.4" and a Bb.l Length of 3.9." and 1.7 lb.
The P01 was though built as a ground up replacement for the CZ 75.
Neither pistol is going to be a gun for the mass market. They are more expensive than Glocks but somewhat less than Sigs.
I would put them more in a collector category than an every day carry category for most.
Tanfoglio Witness! They come in compact, polymer, whatever you want. They are CZ clones :)

I have a CZ 75 D PCR Compact. It's a fine alloy frame pistol.

The first magazine I fired with my P-O1 brought people from all over the range to see what I was shooting. It is the most accurate weapon I have fired in my 40+ years of shooting.
I now have 5000+ rounds through it with only two, failure to go into full battery, with WWB. With S&B, the ammo it was developed with, it has been flawless with 3000 rounds.
If you get one let me know. I have a few stainless guide rods I had made up.
The PCR has different rear sights than the P-01. The lack of accessory rails also makes the frame a little shorter than the P-01. If your interested in a steel frame and manual safety, there is always the 75 Compact. Any of them would serve you well. I have a P-01 but normal carry gun is the P-06.
Why the dilemma? Get them both!:danceban:
P-01!
You can't go wrong either way.
You can't go wrong with any CZ.
I have the PCR, GREAT gun. I did not want the accessory rail
PCR !
Have about 500 rds through mine and like it more everytime I shoot it. :hand10:
