    Trade a Glock 19 for Beretta 92fs?

I have a chance to trade my glock 19 for a beretta 92FS. The beretta is only a year old and the guy has the box and both mags that came with it. Is this a good trade?

I will say yes, because I'm not a big glock fan and I have greatly enjoyed my 92. I should ask if your going to plan on carrying it since it's a little on the heavy side.

I would not trade a Glock. I became a believer. Never thought I would own one,but once I did, truly impressed.

What is the going price for a new GLOCK 19? If it's less than the Beretta that you're looking at it may be worth trading, you can get a new GLOCK probably easier than getting a Beretta. I'd be willing to bet you end up with another GLOCK 19.

I'm curious about the 92fs, I've never fired one. I do know that I love my GLOCK 19 and wouldn't trade but that's just me.

My CZ P-01 is my EDC gun. The g19 just stays at the house. Its a great gun, but for carry I prefer my CZ. So the Beretta will not be for carry all the time, but may be carried on the occasion.

I would do it, but I'm biased, I have two 92FS's and no Glocks. A 92FS is my EDC and I have no complaints. As far as heavy, I have nearly always EDC'd full size guns and I don't find it a problem. They are reliable and accurate. One additional factor, is I like guns with hammers.

Which one has a greater perceived value to you? If it is the 92, then go for it.

Keep the Glock. It is far more reliable.

    That's debatable.

The Beretta is a nice gun but it well have a tuff time topping the two guns you already have.
The CZ P01, G19 and the 92fs are the baddest 9MMs on the planet with the nod going to the CZ P01 IMO.

Guantes, it's always debatable. The CZ P-01 and G19 are both better handguns than the 92FS, IMHO. I'm not saying the Beretta is Taurus-bad, but I don't think it is as reliable as the Glock. He asked for opinions, I opined.

Not a problem, just a little levity.

You'd go up on the cool factor, but down on the practicality. JMHO.

    I must have both.

Yes go for the Beretta, I have the Model 96, same gun in 40S&W. Great weapon that is fun to shoot and not so hard to conceal.
