    Traveling unarmed July 7th

I will be flying from Indianapolis to Memphis, through Atlanta of course, and I will be doing so unarmed and without my trusty Glock 23 in my checked bag.

I am flying down to load up a U-Haul with all of our stuff and move the wife and kids up here to Indiana. And since they are all down there, so is all of our other guns. So when I get home I can strap on my XD .40 and be just fine for the trip back up here.

Mike, if you need any help breaking those in at the Indiana gun ranges, let me know, I'd be more than happy to help you out.

Thanks Chris. Expect a call in the next few months so you can show me where all the ranges are. I need a tour guide.

Pretty easy to fly with a checked firearm however, since you got one waitin' for ya in TN. it's a non issue. You won't be naked long. Just go pick up your family and bring em' home safe. It'll all turn out just fine Mike. Put your brother in your holster, he'll protect ya.

    Mike,

If the wife is picking you up at the Memphis airport, perhaps she could bring the XD along. That way you could strap it on for the ride across town to Arlington. Just in case you had a flat or car trouble around I-240 and Lamar, or Getwell or Perkins or Mt Moriah...you get the picture.

I'm headed to Nashville in the morning or I would offer you an armed escort...

    Be safe!!!

Good luck on the trip. Sounds like you have it planned out. Good thing you have other guns down "home" in TN. Look forward to the day when you could be making the move "back" to TN.

Good to hear you're getting your family under one roof. Good luck, and be safe.

If your flight is diverted to Albany, I'll bail you out.
