Not intended for your carry gun

    That merits repeating:
    NOT FOR YOUR CARRY GUN
For my fellow Glocksters...The Ultimate KOOL-AID...

I bought a Vanek Trigger for my son's Glock 17 long slide. This was already a very strong competition pistol. This trigger is lighter and smoother than ANY TRIGGER I'VE EVER SQUEEZED.
Smoother than any Wilson, Baer, or Brown...smoother than $4500 STI race guns, trigger weight just under 2 pounds, and smooth like butter.
$130 delivered, comes with easy instructions for 20 minute installation.
    He's got a competition in 3 hours...updates to follow.

Interesting. A 2lb trigger gives me pause even for competition, but hey, if YOU like it I'm happy for you! Good luck!

2 lbs? Man, don't even think about trigger pressure! Hope it works out for him in the competition.

Too light for my tastes, but whatever works for ya'.
The standard 5.5# trigger is perfect for the normal use of the Glock.IMHO

Waiting for results to be emailed. He had the fastest clean run at the time we left (18.70 seconds). It's a 17 shot course, bowling pins at 25 - 50 feet, must be knocked off the tables they sit on, and a "thread the needle shot", where you have to knock a pin down that almost totally obscured by 2 other pins, and you can't hit the 2 "blocking" pins, or you're disqualified.
We adjusted it to 2.5 lbs before the competition, as he felt the reset wasn't crisp enough at 2 lbs.
Agreed, the factory trigger is fine for carry, but this is a a competition gun, competing against Wilsons and Rock Rivers.
