M&P - Smith and Wesson Customer Service
I've had my M&P 9c for a while now. It came with two magazines, one with a flat buttplate and one with an extension for your pinky. I couldn't quite get used to the flat buttplate so I called S&W. I talked to a really nice guy in customer service and was off the phone in 3 minutes. They are sending me a new buttplate free of charge...cool!
So just a heads up to anyone with the same problem, give them a call and you'll probably get the same treatment. Great customer service on this.

XGRIPgrp.jpgYou have also the option if you want to increase your capacity by another 5 rounds. The X-Grip slides over an extended magazine. Only $12.95

Hmm, personally I hate the extensions...the whole reason I went for the compact was the small size in the holster. I'd figured I'd try to swap it to someone, but maybe it's worth a call to S&W.
Of course I also got a full size with the x-grip mentioned by Sig35seven for a reload too!

I'm sure they would send the flat plate like they sent me the extension.

Yep, I have done it twice. I purchased my M&P compact 9 when I lived in Cali and had a finger rest sent for the 10 round Cali magazine. When I moved to Las Vegas I purchased three 12 round mags from a store here, but they had the flat butt plates. I called S&W and they sent me three finger rest for the 12 round mags at no charge.
