I would hate to be on the road somewhere filling up the SUV and not be able to use my card since I carry little to no cash.
PayPal to me is a necessary evil. I hear all kinds of horror stories....I just hope that most are "urban legends".
It will freeze the PayPal account. You will try to make a PayPal payment and the system will tell you that you have made over $2000 in payments on that credit/debit card and that it is no longer acceptable. It will then offer you the "opportunity" to become "fully registered" by providing them with your checking account number and all the info that goes with it. In small print it will tell you that you can use another credit/debit card.
QK has done what a lot of people have done establish an account with little or no money in it for use with PayPal.

Yep - a paperweight or doorstop! Sounds like a good ''description'' to me

Hey, now I really like that one. We all use that expression, but that is a pretty imaginative new twist!

Why would any person that likes guns go near E-Bay or Pay-Pal?

AirForceShooter,
I understand what you are saying, but...
PayPal is the only game in town for what they do. Its a great way to pay for and receive payment between individuals who are not merchants. I guess you can snail mail personal checks, but there can be problems with that too -- in addition to taking a lot of time. Heck, my bank tells me not even to accept checks for internet purchases! I wish PayPal had different political views, but I (perhaps selfishly) use the service because it is convenient for me and there are no competitors yet.
If anyone wants to start an on-line payment service, I have a bunch of customers for you!
As for eBay... I don't sell gun stuff on there -- I use the various forums. Better quality of people buying from you in general.
I guess I wish I was stronger. ;) Disney is anti-gun, but my kids really want to go there. What can I do? On the other hand, if a restaurant chain or department store or some other fungible commodity is anti-gun -- I avoid it.

Well I'm sure that you have done business with anti-gun companies before too.
Why would anyone cock a DA pistol and put their finger on the trigger like you advocated in an earlier thread?
Why Ike, whatever do you mean? Maybe poker's just not your game Ike. I know! Let's have a spelling contest!

Ebay Is NOT Anti Gun...they are Pro Money.
They are headquartered in California & all screwball CA State laws apply on Ebay no matter what state the bidder & seller are from.
The CA high court ruled that all Ebay auctions must comply with all CA Stupid Rules & Regs for anything selling on Ebay.
So...Ebay is an "on line" taste of California.

????
I advocated carrying a 1911 at condition 0.
that's a single action.
Or are you talking about being in a condition Red situation?
I'm not sure which of my comments you're referring to.
