    Police Officer Shot At Gun Range

    Just saw this on the news. Not much information.

    Stafford police said one of its officers was training at the Rosenberg Police Department shooting range on Avenue A near 8th Street at about 9:45 p.m. Thursday.

    Glad he's ok. Don't know details but I wonder if it was a malfunction of some sort or a certification *FAIL*

    If someone was there to verify, they'll say it was a ND. If nobody can verify, it will be claimed the gun "went off" by itself. Ridiculous.
    In the Marine Corps I carried one of the standard Beretta M9 service pistols in a traditional duty holster. Now it's a 1911 in a SuperTuck. I'm glad for the upgrade.

    When I was a cop in the USAF we had a guy shot a hole in the stall door,he claimed the gun S&W mod 15, fell outa his holster and discharged,when the Investigator sat on the toilet and aimed straight out like when you play queeksdraw the hole in the door and adjacent wall lined up,he looked at the guy and said you wanta change your story
