Sig owners which grips do you perfer?

I have a Sig 239 I'm picking up tomorrow and I was wondering what you other sig owners here prefer for grips? The factory Sig grips or the hogue finger groove grips? My Sig has the hogues on it but I'm thinking I'm gonna order the factory plastic ones from Sig,however I've read that the 239's factory plastic grips are really slippery is this the case? Should I keep the hogues or order the factory ones?

My 226 still has the plastic grips on it. Its never given me any problems. I haven't tried the hogue grips, but held them and it was just too thick for my liking.

I have had them get a little greasy but it has never affected the grip. If anything it left a bit of residue on my hands afterward. I think it was from cleaning and oiling the gun without cleaning the handles after I finished. Get a bit rushed towards the end.

If you would like the grip to be a little smaller I would say give them a try.

I like both the Hogue finger grips and the Aluminun ones as well. Except they are darn cold in the winter!!

It's all about YOU and how the gun feels in your hand. For me, it's the Hogue finger grips on my P239. I've had Hogue grips on my P229 for 12 years...absolutely the best grip....for ME.

The 239 standard grip circumference is just a tad small for my hands, so I prefer the Hogue rubber grips; they seem a little thicker than the factory grips. But it's all about hand size and personal preference.

My 239 is the only SIG I've changed grips on, and I'm using the Hogue rubber grips. I really like them, as usual your mileage may vary.

Here's a SIG P239 SAS with Nill grips. Very comfortable to shoot with.

For a daily carry, I like the Hogue rubber grips. They are ugly as sin, but they function very well, and I get a better grip on them than on the factory grips. They're also pretty cheap, so if you get them and hate them, it's not a big loss.
