    Storage of magazines in Kydex

I have read about risks of storing guns in leather holsters due to leather holding moisture.

How about Kydex? What I am specifically wondering about is storage of magazines with defensive ammo in Kydex holders.

I am using a Kydex spare mag holder now for a P239 .40. When disarming, should I be taking the magazines out of the holder or can I leave them in?

How about guns in Kydex? If there are existing threads on this please just point me to them. Thanks.

My G19 gets stored in a Serpa CQC holster most of the time. Like 90%. I've had no problems with it. I would never let it live in leather like that though. I only take it out if it got wet from rain or I was hot and sweaty. Other than that, I let it ride and wipe it down occasionally. My mag is stored in a nylon case and rarely ever comes out. But Glock mags are mostly plastic/polymer.

I don't worry about my stuff in kydex.

I keep my mags in my kydex mag carrier...and have kept my P229 in a Bladetech IWB....

    No worries.

Only time I would worry is if you sweat a lot like working outside, when you get done, make sure you wipe your gun and mags down, the saltwater from your sweat can start rusting on unprotected steel pretty quick,I had the hammer pin on a 1911 started rusting from body sweat,
