Looking for a bootcamp like physical training with firearm challenge element
So I ran across this uber-physical challenge at www.youmaydie.com . Now, I don't personally feel I am anywhere ready for THAT. I also am the type that gets bored as hell running. Lifting weights is great, but again - plain, boring, etc.
Is there a bootcamp like physical training that includes guns/firearms as well. Run run, over hill, over the logs, up the wall, through the sand - shoot at targets. Run more, hike with backpack, do a drill with gun while moving.
Anybody ever hear of something like this?

Only at actual boot camp. I think the insurance and liability for something like that would make it not profitable. But I could be wrong.

Lol +1... They'll even send you to a beach for all your trouble... They just neglect to mention the beach has no water...

LOL. Having done bootcamp once, I think I'll pass. I doubt there is a substitute for the real thing.

If I may make a few suggestions.
Day 1. Go into your local bike bar find the biggest baddest guy there and smack him in the nose as hard as you can. I bet you will get one heck of a running workout running as fast as you can.
Day 2. Go to local Crack den stop some trouble..........
Day 3. .................................................. ..

Try to find a GOOD MMA or even boxing gym. One that trains fighters, if they have a strength and conditioning programme do that. Trust me it will get you in shape!! My coach missed his calling as a DS.

Marines, Army ... take your pick. They'll even pay you and supply all the goodies.

Well - joining the Army, Marines, etc is not really an option. Was looking for something that was on the weekends for a few hours - keep in shape, shoot, etc.
Maybe there is a business opportunity here. Would you guys do this?

Two very good ones come to mind and are very affordable as well. MCRD San Diego and MCRD Paris Island.

You mean one good one: PI, and one vacation spot Dago. Guess which one I went to?
As far as the business aspect, I don't think you would be able to find someone to insure it, and I'm really not sure how much interest there would be in it, I think only a very small portion of the population would be interested in such a thing. Then there is the safety aspect of all of it. Having done many, many dynamic ranges from fire team to battalion size, as well as actual combat, there are so many moving parts, you need to make sure everyone is really up to speed and knows their stuff, it's just too easy to have lax muscle discipline after running even short distances with the extra weight, the adrenaline going, and everything else. I think outside of the military and select LEO groups, it just isn't very feasible.
