    Can't afford an MP5

This is maybe the next best thing. Ordered it from AIM and got it today from my transfer dealer. $415 total including shipping. I am impressed by the overall look, feel and apparent build quality. Its light but not to light and has a quality German made feel to it. I added a Primary Arms (Aimpoint Micro) clone which I have a couple other of their products and have been very pleased with the function and quality for a sub $100 red dot and it looks right at home on this little rifle. I purchased a SIG 522 a while back and it a blast to plink with and I just may have to get a S&W AR .22 also to complete the triple play of black plinkers. I will give a range report as soon as possible. Should be another fun toy.

When I leave the home port:
S&W 642 Airweight, Ruger SP 101, Colt Detective Spec., CZ RAMI, Kahr PM9, Kahr CW40, S&W Model 10-7, Glock 30, 19, and 26, Browning Hi Power, CZ82, Colt Commander, Dan Wesson PM7, Ruger LCP

No actually you have a GSG 5, this is the GSG 522. The lawsuit was settled with H&K and they are now producing under the new name with a few minor changes and all is good.

Thats good,Once GSG works thru all the problems with their 1911 22,they will be producing really good replicas, that anybody can shoot fairly cheap.

    You got a great deal on a GSG-5 (I paid $499)
I miss the bang and the recoil of EBR's, but it's fun to shoot.

What rail is that? I hear some don't sit level. Like it?

To get my rail to attach right and sit level there was a high spot on the top of the receiver and I trimmed it down with a dremel, then touched it up with a perma marker

This rail now comes with the GSG 522 pacage and you can purchase it from the importer ATI. It works fits perfectly and appears well made and very stable.
