Questions about talking to a lawyer in a SD shooting situation
The general consensus on here seems to be after an incident do not talk to the cops but get a lawyer and have him/her deal with the questions and all the legal stuff. Sounds all good and great, but how many people actually have a lawyer that they can call at 2 am or whenever an event happens? Do you have to answer questions from the cops right there or can you just say "i need to find a lawyer" and then you make an appointment to talk to the police at the station?
For those of you who are of the state of mind about not talking to the police do you have a lawyer's number in your phone? Are there websites to find a good self defense lawyer? Anyone in central Florida able to recommend one?
I've read multiple threads about how people say to only talk to a lawyer and such but none elaborating on the best way to do this, or how to handle the police.
hopefully this makes sense I know I'm horrible scatter brained.
