Too bad the National Crime Prevention Council has gone "bottoms up" with the Brady Kool-Aid...

Interesting that they pick and choose statistics that only vaguely make their point and focus on their "success" by saying they've gotten guns off the street, not by showing any statistics that their work did any good.

My personal favorite is the one about the fact that keeping a gun in the home nearly triples the likelihood someone will die in the home. It seems to me that it makes a big difference whether that increases the likelihood that "BAD guys" die in the home or "good guys." My money is on the bad guys losing more in this case.

Just look at the bio for their CEO, says it all "chief of staff for Janet Reno"....

There's nothing that will change someone's moral outlook quicker than cash in large sums.

Majority rule only works if you're also considering individual rights. Because you can't have five wolves and one sheep voting on what to have for supper.

The name of the organization leads me to believe they are not grounded in reality. That's a lofty goal.
