Found two handguns from cleaning!!!
Alright so this has been a great day, today my family was going through a whole bunch of my grandpas stuff that he gave to us before he passed away ten years ago and going through a briefcase i found 1 Colt Huntsman and 1 Ruger Sturm single action 6 shot, Cleaned them both up even though the Ruger was a pain... Not much to brag about but im really excited, actually going to go shoot some chipmunks tomorrow, prob going to shot the huntsman the whole time though

Great! You really hit the jackpot. I just hope for a stray $20 now and then.

Nice! I'm sure that Grandpa would have wanted you to take good care of them. Guns are a nice thing to pass down and a nice thing to have passed down to you.

Great find, and a wonderful memory of your grandfather...be sure to pass them down.

I had the same luck while cleaning my father's storage room. I found a Beretta 1934 .380 ACP in mint condition and with a spare mag. He had forgotten that he had purchased the handgun back in 1955 and was owned by an Italian immigrant. He has never used it so he gave it to me as a present. That was a fantastic day for me!!!!

I love these kind of posts. We definately need pics! I take an odd comfort in the thought of my grandson and great-grandkids may shoot my guns someday.
