well you could open and close the doors/ trunk/ hood, turn the key off and on, and beat the tires with a bat, that should break in the car nicely.
and whats this range mag and carry mag stuff, I get so irritated by hearing this I don't wanna wear my mag springs out junk, keep your mags loaded, shoot em if you got em, and don't worry about it, that mag spring is made to release and contract, its made to stay compact for a long period of time, it won't hurt it by using the same mags for carry and range

I've never "broken in" a Glock. Complete waste of time, if you ask me.
Just shoot the thing and quit worrying.

Wow.
Just.
Wow.
Um...wear the gun as you play splinter cell, and arm your character with a glock. Have him shoot people in the game, and that will translate to rounds through the gun.
Yeah...
OK...
Moving on now...

Sure, send your GLOCK to me and I will perform the break in shooting. I can't specify how long it will take me....

Throw it in a bucket of mud, pullit out rack the slide 10 times, throw it in a bucket of sand pull it out rack the slide 10 times, throw it in a bucket of slime pull it out rack the slide 10 times. Then tie a heavy cord around it and drag it behind your vehicle for 10 miles, rack the slide 10 times, find a friend with a pilots license and then drop it from 2000 feet in a plowed field go find it rack the slide 10 times and then load it and slap it in your holster

what everybody is trying to tell you is that your glock will not require a break in period...they tend to shoot anything and everything right out of the box...its one of the reasons they got their undeserved reputation for uncommon reliability....
we dont need no stinking break-in...

On a serious note do fire a hundred or so rounds of factory full metal jacket practice ammo (Winchester White Box, Remington UMC, Federal Champion, etc) then fire about 50 rounds of whichever self defense ammunition you want to use. Do this with any gun you are going to depend on to defend your life. 101 out of a 100 GLOCKS have no problem performing with factory FMJ or JHP ammo, but it feels go to know it's gonna work. Some manufacturers recommend a break-in period longer than mentioned above, follow their instructions.
Enjoy your GLOCK!

Glocks are ready to go right out of the box; the shooter needs the break in.
