Is this a good deal on a Used Glock 22 Gen3?

I went to the Pawn shop today and looked at a used Gen 3 Glock 22 40S&W priced @ $439. I told the guy I would give him $400 cash and he said he would take it, I still hesitated becaused I didn't really know it this was a good deal or not. The Pawn shop owner let me field strip it right there in the store and it did not look like it was in bad shape cleanliness wise although there were brass shavings under the slide. Should I take it outside of the city limits and test fire it if I decide to purchase it or not and are there other little things to look for that show signs of abuse,Thanks.

That's not bad. We can get 'em new here for $459, but if it's in good shape $400 ain't bad.

that sounds good, i dont know if the pawn shop would let you test fire it though i asked one time and they told me i would have to pay in full as is no refunds on all items in the store including firearms. that was where i live though.

For $400 cash............I'd say go for it, and you can clean it up, and do anything else needed with little added expense. IMO, $400 cash for any 3rd gen Glock pistol is a bargain. Take it and run, and we'll work out any issues you have after the deal right here.
