I've got the Colt M4 .22 but I like the S&W as well.

The Sig is alot of fun too.

I'm not fond of the Ruger..its just a built up 10/22 action and looks nothing like it should.
I would rather stand against the cannons of the wicked than against the prayers of the righteous.

I did notice that about the Ruger, the S&W actually is built from the ground up to be like a AR-15...charging handle and everything.......that I like.....

My super fun rifle for the last 25 years has been a Marlin Model 60 (introduced in 1960) .22 semi auto with micro groove rifling. Bang for the buck is about as good as it gets, accuracy is excellent, and .22 long rifle shells are still reasonable at under $20 for 500 to 550 shells in a bulk pack.

Also if you are one who likes to add accessories to your rifle a Ruger 10/22 would be one you may want to take a look at. Oodles of extras!
Yeah, My old CCW 9 MM is nicknamed "Barkey"
    New CCW LCP is "Elsie"
and my 12 Ga S x S Coach gun is "Boomer"
Wife's weapon is "Miss Pearl" (SP101 .357 w/mother of pearl inserts)
We're old so we can get away with that.

It has to do with sticking to the AR-15 platform, which I have had many.................nothing to do with cool...........it would be very nice to have a AR-15 style rifle to practice with without shooting up all your .223 all the time. Very economical, yet staying with what you like....
