Hmmm. Actually, that bit of attempted humor brings to mind what seriously would seem to be a pretty good idea! Look the guy dead in the face, and in as scornfull a manner as you can, say, ...

"It's an insulin pump. Thanks for embarassing me."

That ought to shut him, and the whole situation, down right quick.

Where is South Beach? I never said that was my response. I was going for low testosterone. My response was to gouge out his eyes and choke him into a light coma.

The southern tip of Miami Beach...often referred to by the ultra hip ultra chic as SOBE (pronounced as sooo beee). It's heavily gay which is why I haven't been there in about 15 years. Lots of films and movies are done there. Ever seen the tv series "Nip Tuck?" Or the movie "Transporter 2?" "Bad Boys" 1 & 2?

Never heard of it. Sounds like you are more than familiar. Reckon I'll take your word for it.

I was born and raised here in Miami. My dad graduated from Miami Senior High in 1924. That is just about the level of a founding family for this area. I've seen SOBE go from what was called The Elephant Grave Yard where old folks went to die....to the hottest piece of real estate in the world. I only wish I'd had the foresight to buy some of that property when it was dirt cheap. Hind sight is always 20-20.

As far as the comeback for this thread, I like the Insulin Pump retort best.

I literally grew up at PAFB on the Eastern testing Range. I'll bet I was the youngest and smallest kid to ever get their very own I.D. tag for entrance into NASA classified areas. My dad's company did work for the USAF and NASA. Used to leave me in a blockhouse where I could play "sub commander" with the periscopes while pop went off to meetings. I'm pretty sure all of the electronics were offline since I pushed every button I could find multiple times.
