You wouldn't believe how hard it was to get my paws on a .22 pistol around here, but I wasn't lookin for anything fancy so this is what I got

You wouldn't believe how hard it was to get my paws on a .22 pistol around here, but I wasn't lookin for anything fancy so this is what I got

Very nice. YES! I am aware of how hard they are to find. I looked for 4 months to find a 4 inch .22 with NO luck. I got a new Tracker at Buds. I was also looking for a J frame size .22 to use for a training gun, I teach a lot of new shooters. I looked for, and ran adds for 6 MONTHS. Finally found one Sunday. People with .22 wheel guns do NOT want to part with them.

Congrats on the nice find. Are they really that hard to find out that way? I know I spotted at least 3 or 4(HRR in .22) of these at the local gun show this past weekend. HAVE FUN!

I didn't go to the show, I always have to work weekends. I got it from my locally owned outdoor store, same place I bought my first ever gun Savage Mark II .22 rifle :D but I had to wait for them to order it in coz nowhere I checked had anything to even look at.
and I DID have a new trap. I put it by my chicken pen not set.....and I went to bait it tonight and it was GONE! I'm pretty pissed about it right now!!!!!

I had an H&R 926, nine shot .22 for years. Nice little gun. It put a few squirrels and quail in the pot during hunting trips.

Ten years ago (about) I bought my wife a 4" barrel rough rider, with a bird heads grip to put in her antique case. That was our first firearm purchase. 10 years later and a few thousand bucks.......the gun safe is swelling. Have fun and don't be afraid to work on the sights.
