today i went to my local gun shop and was perusing the racks. I came across a High Point 9mm Carbine that was 180 bucks, i figured it was kind of cool so i was checking it out, it felt really good in my hands and on my shoulder, and one of my friends behind the counter saw me looking at it. He came over and asked if i was interested, and I told him yes I was, but I was mulling the price around. It had the rifle, plus a 4 power scope on it. He threw in 50 rounds of 9mm and gave me a deal of 150 plus tax, now its sitting in my gun safe, ready for the range on friday with mom, and I am very excited to shoot it, I do not intend to use it for anything other than a truck gun, in case i decide to go on a walk through some woods, or camp somewhere for the night i have a way to hunt if i should have an emergency. i know, long shot possibility, but that was my way of reasoning away a new gun. Hopefully it shoots as well as it feels, and the guy behind the counter said if it dosen't perform and jams more than 3 times in 200 rounds, bring it back for a full refund. He also specified that this was only good for factory ammo, and not reloaded ammo. I think I made a good purchase, and if nothing else, i can have some fun plinking with it. And while its in the truck and gets stolen, im out 150 bucks, nothing more
