Not sure this is the best place for this. Please move, if not.
LET'S be honest. He's scared of the thing. That's understandable--so am I. But as a girl I have the luxury of being able to admit it. I don't have to masquerade squeamishness as grand principle-in the interest of mankind, no less.
I'm just one root in a grassroots organization. No one should assume that I speak for the VCDL.
I am neither an attorney-at-law nor I do play one on television or on the internet. No one should assumes my opinion is legal advice.

While the article does apply to a certain protion of the male population, I don't believe that, that portion is as big as the article suggests. IN addition, it is overly harsh in general. I have known a number of men that did not like guns and some of them were men that I would not want to tangle with.

It's one thing to not be comfortable with a firearm and therefore opt to not keep or bear one. But it's another to impose the same handicap onto others.
I agree with this.
Proverbs 27:12 says: “The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it.”

I read a few other treatises of her's. I find her to be a well written author whose views are similar to mine.
Thank you for giving me some new, and refreshing, reading DaveH.

That was a good one. Certainly won't be winning many new converts, but I was entertained.

those who's motives are "pure" ??? or could it be who's motives are into social engineering. Who's only real purpose is power. Power over people around them. Power to rule the people/citizens in there small sphere of influence.
Of course, sexual and psychological insecurities don't account for ALL men against guns. Certainly there must be some whose motives are pure
, who perhaps do care so much as to tirelessly look for policy solutions to teenage void and aggressiveness, and to parent and teacher negligence. But for a potentially large underlying contributor,
HAPPY NEW YEAR
