    Kaboom!!!!

    Here is what 50 lbs. of steel, two 35mm film canisters full of blackpowder, and a 3 lbs. lead ball looks like. :D

    We did find one of the balls once, it landed about 250 yards away. :D

    I was about 30 feet aways and had my finger pressing on the shutter button, waiting for it to go off. Then all the sudden KABOOOOM. I completely forgot to take the picture. Then I looked at the camera sure enough there was the cloud picture. I guess I flinched and that made me push the button. If you look closely you can see the newspaper packing flying out in the cloud.

    Made my first one 30 years ago, 175 cal, on a Naval carriage then made a smaller one based upon a Napoleon III field piece, try wet wadding it for some real noise.

    Primary Carry - Taurus PT-111 Mil Pro 9mm DAO with 12 + 1 in the pipe. Holstered in a Brigade OWB M2.

    Secondary Weapon - Taurus PT1911 5" 45acp SA with 8+1. Holstered in a Kydex paddle.
