    Anybody else check their ammo this way, or am I paranoid. I can only remember finding one bad factory defense round doing this, a Federal 9mm with an upside down primer. Federal missed it but I didn't.
    Hmm.. what would have happened if you had chambered and pulled the trigger on that round?

    Well, with the help/suggestions of everyone here on the forum that is. Actually ASSA9 suggested to pull the bullet and look for marks on the back side. I'm glad he made the suggestion because I didn't think to pull it and look. I appreciate everyones input here.

    Yes, it is piece of mind know for fact what caused it.
