Walked in to local gun shop to find magazines for the M&P. Well, they were out. So I walked around just looking, then I saw it. A CZ 550 FS in 6.5x55 Swedish. I asked to see it and got hooked. It came to shoulder naturally for me and had a smooth action. Just when my list was getting shorter.

Ah....the "list". It never gets 'shorter'. 6.5X55 is the first cartridge I ever reloaded for. One of my favorites. Let me know if I can be of any assistance in the reloading department or otherwise.
CZ is making some pretty fine iron these days, and the 6.5 Swede is on my wish list. As old as it is, that round hit a home run when it was developed and has a lot going for it. A lot of us are seduced by magnums when realistically, a modest round with good ballistics is all that's needed for taking game.
