Just picked up an new Ruger 22/45 (with replaceable grip panels) last week for my birthday so I could save some money at the range. I must say I really like the little gun. Saved me about $20 by not shooting my 1911.

I do love those replaceable grip panels... the grip being about the only think I don't like about my 22/45 MkII.
I dropped a Volquartsen trigger kit into mine, and the resulting trigger is very impressive. No idea what the pull weight is (I'd guess around 3 pounds), but it's creep-free and breaks like a glass rod. Well worth the $80 or so I paid.

Mine shoots great, but what a bear to tear down and reassemble!
