A drive to our nearest indoor range is about 25 miles away. Dropped a yearly membership with them a few years ago, but they still charge me basically at a member price per visit. Our closest club range is about 50 miles away, and the club range we go to for the matches is about 60 miles away. We do have the option of driving about 42 miles to the nearest public range. We could do it across the road, but that's limited pretty much to the .22s unless I spot a deer in the right direction. Our ten acres 12 miles from where we live is pending sale. Mostly rugged hunting land and timber....not exactly set up for practice of any sort, timber, hills, bluffs and caves.

900 feet and I'm down at the end of my property, where we have a large mound of dirt, and a range for handguns, and anything you want to shoot that can reach out 5-600 yards if you want.

I could join the local sportsmans club if I needed to , and they ar 4mi. down the road.

My indoor range is about a 40 minute drive. 13$ per hour. Safety, ventilation, upkeep...all good.
    It's a decent facility.

I've got two ranges within 6 miles of my house. The one I normally use is 4 miles. Both are outdoor. The closest allows anything but full auto.
