    Do you name your guns, or am I just a nerd?

    Alright, this might be a little embarassing, but what the heck: do any of you name your guns?

    Here's my list; bonus points for anyone that can guess which one goes with what caliber/gun. If you guess the actual weapon, big bonus. I don't have a clue what any of these bonus' might be, but it's worth throwing it out there.

    Snitch, Snort, Skeeter, Dot, Gert, Big Baby, Jethro.

    That's the family.

    Nerd is to high tech of a name, I'm thinking something more redneckish...

    Skeeter=sig mosquito?

    Big Baby=12 gauge?

    Jethro=44 mag?

    I don't name my guns but if I did I may try to stick with names of beautiful women, but then again My wife sure doesn't need to hear me muttering womens names in my sleep either.

    You're a nerd! LOL Just kidding. No I don't name name mine. Maybe I should, then when I refer to one of them to my wife as long as she knows the names, she'll know which one I'm talking about. Now, sometimes I say the Kahr CW9 and she can't picture which one that is, although she's getting better at knowing the difference in them.

    Skeeter is a Sig Mosquito, that seems like an easy one, but you're off on the other two -- I do own a shotgun but not a 12g and I don't own a .44mag.

    I called my CZ-82 all kinds of names (which can't be posted) when I was trying to reassemble it. Does that count?

    And you are a nerd, lol, and I am jealous that I do not have a collection that requires names, with me, it is .45 and .380, and "Leave the .25, it is useless"

    My wife has names for my guns by size. "momma" "baby" and "poppa" Then theres "the kids gun". Like stated before I wish my collection was bigger to require a bit more specificity.
    Please take my posts with a grain of salt. I am frequently sleep deprived and always just on this side of "Krazy".

    The term "nerd" doesn't come to mind. Not like "weirdo" does.

    I call mine by their makes or models. "The Smith," "The Ruger," etc.

    I refer to mine by make/model/caliber. No "names" for me. I'm so bad with names anymore, even if I did I couldn't remember them.

    Me and my fiance have different names for my guns. Dan Wesson Cbob is simply Dan and G36 is Ugly Duckling. It makes it easy for her to ask if I'm carrying and which one.
