Just another anti-human anti-progress group the same as the Sierra Club, Greenpeace, World Wildlife fund or the US Humane Society. It would not surprise me if one of the major contributors is George Soros. More info of such organizations can be found here: http://activistcash.com/

"which the groups say kills 10 million to 20 million birds and other animals a year by lead poisoning."
So did they test these birds? And is leeway of 10 million even legitimate? Can we get more vague?
Lead has been terrible for the Bald Eagle, no wait, Peregrine Falcon, no wait, Turkeys, no wait, Ducks, no wait they are all on the rebound. If you are really worried about birds, protect their habitat.
I wonder if these rocket scientists realize this will decimate the funding for wildlife conservation by putting a huge hit on sales of sporting goods, thereby reducing the Robertson-Pittman excise taxes. Sportsman are the main funders of wildlife conservation in this country. Leave us alone.

If you look at this outfit's website, you will see that they are doing all sorts of crazy stuff. They want to set aside 187,000 sq miles of Alaska to a completely protected wilderness status, in order to save the Polar Bear. That is an area almost 4 times the size of the state of New York.
They even want the courts to rule that the Endangered Species Act can be used to mandate a reduction in greenhouse gas production, all based on the logic that Global Warming can be stopped by man, and that making drastic reductions will save the ice pack that Polar Bears rely on.
I swear, that Endangered Species Act is perhaps the most flawed legislation ever past by the US Congress.

These folks have obviously never been to Alaska. If they had, and really visited the state outside the usual tourist centers, they'd realize that more area than what they're asking for is already un-visited, uninhabited, nothing more than remote wildlife wilderness!
This is just another example of people who serve no legitimate purpose in life. Seeing as they are lawyers for the most part, I'm willing to bet they each have a monsterous summer estate, built on some huge development at the expense of wildlife habitat.

I would think true lovers of diversity wouldn't discriminate against lead... How do you think that would make lead feel?

Well surely they are against the whack a bird windmills which kill birds by the dump truck full. All you need do is drive out to the windmill farm to witness the abject carnage these things cause.
The bad news, it's mostly the bigger raptors (eagles) hit the hardest.
Why not do something useful and tear down the useless windmills boys and girls. And stop with the lies.

Why post pics of their employees?

I was wondering the same thing.
I've seen lead poisoned horses get pretty darn crazy, so I'm not going to poo on the idea that lead needs to be removed from the environment. OTOH, lead has had so many industrial uses that ammo is a drop in the bucket of the overall problem.

The nice thing about windmills is, other than a bit of lube on occasion, they don't use oil. The birds will figure it out eventually. They said the same crapolla about the AK pipeline and the poor caribou. I'm witness to the fact that the AK wildlife completely ignores the pipeline and walks right over/under it as required.

Never let your horses drink from a shooting range.

Lead shot and all forms of Lead ammunition have been used since the early beginnings of the United States and Deer, Fowl, Bear, etc. populations are higher now than they have been in many decades.
The proposed Lead ban has nothing at all to do with saving the environment.
It has everything to do with anti-gun & anti-hunting, controlling the population & land grabbing but, you should be aware of the fact that the greater agenda is that the entire environmental movement was hijacked years ago by the Socialist/Marxists and many of the well meaning "Teenie Greenies" are just hapless saps & dupes of the radicals that control the movement.

If they really want to help the environment they'd go after depleted uranium. Now that is some nasty stuff that needs banned.

Probably so. More than one shooter would mistake them for deer.

Enviro-wackadoos. This won't go far I'm sure. It has been tried before through other channels and shot down (figuratively speaking).
