I think, that like the judge pistols, it is more of a novelty than anything. One thing that concerns me about it, is I was always taught to never put your hand forward of a cylinder on a revolver, so the forearm is pretty much useless, and you have to hold it kind of goofy, if you subscribe to that thinking at least. It isn't a new idea at all, there were similar carinbes back during the Civil War era.
That being said, I think one would be a fun novelty on a trap or skeet range. But for a defensive weapon, I'd look somewhere else. The reload speed on it being one of the main reasons.

It'd probably be a hoot for an afternoon's fun shooting during a plinking session in a private rural setting. Could be utilized for yard pests with .410 shells. It would mostly be a novelty item rather than a firearm that fills a niche. Except for the unknown of the barrel/cylinder gap issue it does make marginally more sense than the Judge revolvers.

My thoughts...
You have to be kidding. It's a novelty, nothing more.
Shooting 45LC it's a big, hard to hide, low capacity revolver firing a bullet that could be launched from a smaller, more efficient platform that is easier to shoot with more bullets on board.
Shooting .410 it generates neither the velocity to get what you need out of the shell, and due to the rifled barrel gives you excessive spread.
Anyone who thinks it a serious gun is kidding themselves, and has too much invested in fantasy for me to take seriously.
But that's just my thoughts.
Might be a good snake gun, but still bulky to carry.
Not something worth having unless you want to spend money on a novelty safe gun.OMO

Taurus is famous for copying everyone's work. Couldn't they at least make up an original name for this one?
Treat me good, I'll treat you better. Treat me bad, I'll treat you worse.
good snake and field gun, not good for much else

Unless you want more of a distraction and fear device than something that could seriously stop an attacker, the Judge is only good for snakes (and damn good for that).Accuracy is nothing notable with 45lc.But if you hate snakes...
It has a shroud to cover the barrel/cylinder gap so you can put your support hand forward. I want one, mostly for fun.
Not every gun in the safe has to be a tactical zombie killer. I want one. I might even make it an SBR!

I've shot one, and I liked it a lot. Zombie killer, no. VERY fun and addictive plinker, yes. YMMV. By the way, it is single action which I thought the be a peculiar route, but the trigger is very sweet. Just my $0.02...

I love it. Picked it up Saturday. Will take rabbits at 30 yards out of the box. the 45 shoots 1/2" high at 25 yards. rear adjustable sight is a bit touchy, and I keep and ear plug in my left ear. would be great for short range squirrels and can roll a .45 in for deer. I am looking for a useable holster. Also new here from Texas. Howdy!
It is a weapon for the person that has everything and still wants more. It serves no real use. As a home defense the 410 is all but worthless, and if you plan to use the 45 long in it there are better options. It is a novelty. If you have the extra cash laying around go for it
Well I sneaked up on a group of hogs and dropped a 100# boar in his tracks at about 30 yards, hit another one and he ran about 50 yards and piled up. Its like a ruger blackhawke with an 18" barrel. you should try one.
Heck ,,, I would not mind having one,,,, but ,,,, I will
buy ANY GUN,,,, do not need a reason,,,, just like
to shoot. I do think it is a novelty gun and I would
not want to stake my life on it,,,,, even thou it mostly
like would do the deed,,,, just do not want BG that close.
