Reloading Questions...

I don't recall ever seeing an owners manual for handgus that said use reloads all you want. The manufacturers are all about libility coming in and bitting them in the rear.
Good powder and other components are vital, and being very careful to do things corretly is the key. I load and stay within the upper/lower powder range and have never
had any problems. Care and caution is ALL important.
As has been said, this can become half the fun of shooting, but don't use your reloads for your EDC use. It's a lawyer thing.........

I am at the same stage you are in starting reloading, although I have everything I need for both 9mm and 45 ACP, waiting on powder. I have also been perusing this site for reloaders.

Get Lee's ABC's of reloading book and read it
Gun show are a good place to get powder and primers-Winchesters and CCI (?) are what Lee recommends, I think.
Get a Lee adjustable powder bar for fine tuning your charges.
TJ Conevera.com on plated bullets- I use X-treme.
Google the different powder manufacturers and download their reloading charts.

Years ago, I had a blow out in my G17 using factory reloaded ammo (Enforcer). Ruptured case that blew the magazine out of the pistol and burned the top of my strong hand where the magazine release cut is.

I guess my avatar is a dead give away... I do plan to shoot these reloads through my glock 19 with the stock barrel... This is purely for target practice, and I have NO intention of loading more powder than the minimum (starting) load recommendation. I will also only be using FMJ bullets.
