Oh, the shame of it all! The great State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations received a "B-". Can you believe it? This, even though:
We do not allow government agencies to maintain a record of gun sales (also, no gun registration).
We do not have a state "assault" weapons ban.
Permit holders are allowed to carry in schools (I have carried openly in my town's middle & high schools).
Permit holders are allowed to carry in government buildings...except courthouses (by law) and the capitol building (by policy).
Businesses are not allowed to post Texas-style 30.06 "No Guns Allowed" signs.
Contrary to the Brady Campaign website, the police may not limit the carrying of concealed weapons.
Hrm... D- for ohio... I hope, if/when HB 347 (Pre-emption + Car carry fix) / 521 (Castle Doctrine) pass this year we'll make it down to at LEAST F, if not F---... :)
Texas got a big D-. I knew they didn't like my state.I am so thankful to be back in my home state again and out of missouri. When my job was over up there I was gone.sj
Montana rates a big, fat F.
When you’re wounded and left on Afghanistan’s plains,
And the women come out to cut up what remains,
Just roll to your rifle and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier.
Told the Mrs today we need to move to Montana
Here's to Texas! First D- to be proud of!
"He went on two legs, wore clothes and was a human being, but nevertheless he was in reality a wolf of the Steppes. He had learned a good deal . . . and was a fairly clever fellow. What he had not learned, however, was this: to find contentment in himself and his own life. The cause of this apparently was that at the bottom of his heart he knew all the time (or thought he knew) that he was in reality not a man, but a wolf of the Steppes."

SC got a D+. Guess we need to not study quite as hard for the next exam.
Darn....VA received "C-"...
Alabama gets an "F"
Pass the ammunition, boys.
Six for sure...Uh, I mean Five. Five for sure..
Big "D" for South Dakota!! (Thay) like the no carry in K 1-12 schools
and our 48hr wait if no CC.
I went to the site to check on PA but to be honest a few seconds on that site and I felt very ill. So had to close it.
I'd guess PA is well ''down there'' overall - hopefully at least an E or better (worse?!).

Indiana got a D?? For Pete's sake you would think that with just passing the life-time handgun permit and a castle doctrine that we would receive an F or at least D-. I guess we will just have to try harder next year.
