    Laser snap caps?

    http://www.lasersnapcaps.com/product...=index&cPath=1

I found this website that sells them, but says they will be available in a few weeks. 1 45 is $50, but 5 are $10. Seems odd to me, anybody bought from them or know of competitors? Opinions on laser snap caps in general for training?

I think it's a great idea! I can already see the benefits for a FOF kind of training or demonstration and I'm betting it could also be very helpful for some other dry-fire trainings and teaching aids as well.
I wasn't able to see any prices and don't know of any competitors but I wouldn't mind getting a few of these.

Or I could buy a couple boxes of ammo and have permanent indication of POI.

I do see the value in these, but they're not for me...

If there was some sort of electronic target that could record hit placement it would be awesome.

I've been using the LaserLyte LT-Pro for this function. (see my review elsewhere on the forum.) I think it would be great to be able to mix live and laser ammo in a magazine for training -- which the LT-Pro can't do.

That's a pretty cool idea. Like the poster above I've been using the LaserLyte LT-Pro for dry fire practice, but I wouldn't mind having a couple of these as well.

Laserlyte has all of the above wishes covered...

    'LT-Pro Pistol Trainer'

    'Laser Training Target'

None of these are vaporware due to arrive in the unnamed future nor do you have to "login" to see the sales price for product.

Janq, thanks for the links. Those are sweet. Might have to consider getting some.

The caliber specific stuff looks nice. They didn't have that when I bought my LT-Pro, but it is a little more versatile.
