The flight attendant's eyes got real big when she saw my Guns and Ammo mag

as I was done reading it and was handing it over with the newspapers and such she was collecting.

"I may have to keep this for myself," the attractive, middle aged black lady said.

    "Really?"

"I'm kind of a gun collector- I have 22 of them. I haven't read this issue yet, and now I don't have to buy it!"

<reminds himself that he is married, and she is too, but really, what are the odds?>

"Enjoy it." Then the flight was landing and she was never to be seen again.

Sounds like a Craigs List post waiting to happen.

Sounds like a Redneck Romance Novel:

"And as the plane was descending, the exotic goddess appeared out of nowhere and our eyes met. I could see the passion in her heart as she reached for my guns and ammo magazine. My heart pounded as the warm skin of her hand grazed mine in the exchange. She said, 'I collect guns, and I haven't bought this issue yet.' and I said, "Enjoy it." She faded to the back of the plane like an angel on wings never to be seen again. To this day, I think of her everytime I clean my guns. The smell of Hoppes #9 takes me back to the moment our eyes met. It was the most glorious day of my life."

Whew, it was gettin' a little steamy there. Too bad I quit smoking.

That was awesome Bug Dude. I got a good laugh out of that one.

Not too long ago I spent two years shuttling back and forth from AZ to the east coast about monthly. I had had my fill of mindless banter from people sitting next to me, so my defensive tactic was to pull out a copy of American Handgunner. I have to say it worked - I either had a reserved, timid scare from the person next to me, OR I got engaged in a pretty good conversation.

I guess I was expecting "Sir you must put that nasty magazine away, you are scaring the other passengers". Better outcome.
