    New range handgun

Just picked this one up today, hopefully I can get out to the range this week.

There are over 550 million firearms in worldwide circulation. That's one firearm for every twelve people on the planet. The only question is: How do we arm the other 11? (Yuri Orlov [Nicolas Cage] Lord of War)

I hear cz's are great at the rangs. Some of the 9mm's have pretty high cap mags too if I remember correctly? Definately a nice addition to the vault.

I was thinking about the Shadow but between the wait and the extra $$$ I had to pass. Maybe a little further down the road.

You are going to love this gun! The SP-01 Tactical is great! But then, I might be a little prejudiced towards CZ's!

Some of the older CZ's, like the 85, had a tendency to lock the slide back with rounds still in the magazine.

Has anyone heard of a similar problem with the SP-01's?

Well no problems like that, at least with the first 100 rounds.

Shoots great, I on the other hand drop a little low and to the left. Nice groupings right beside the rounds from my 1911.

Mags are a little tight when loading, I guess I'm just used to single stack 45's. They feel like they are bottomless both loading and firing. I try not to count rounds when I'm shooting at the range.

The weapon feels great when holding and firing, something I noticed long ago aren't the same thing when I was hell bent for a Glock.
