Those competitive target guys pay some bucks for their little guns. I don't get it, but then again we all have a hobby that we spend too much on.
Why do you care what anyone spends on what they want?
Most expensive .22 I've heard of is the Volquartsen. $1200 bucks.
"Brilliant. So now we got a huge guy theory, and a serial crusher theory. Top notch. What's your name?" - Paul Smecker
I haveno problems with folks spending money on their hobby. But like someone said:price does not mean the best. I shoot trap with a 220 dollar Mossberg 835 and hit 23's. I have shot my friends 5000 dollar Ithaca and do no better. BUt if I had the money I would buy a prettier gun
Wowzers, more power to the owner of that, but I did the math and I'd make my $5800 stretch a little more...

Lots of people enjoy rimfire competition, but I for one am not worthy of one at that cost.
Some people just have alot of disposable income.
If there are no dogs in Heaven, then when I die I want to go where they went.
Im a big fan of the .22LR for bear defense.
Just shoot the guy next to you in the knee and run like heck.
