    Very pleased with DFW Cabelas

I got a $110 gift card for the store. So I went a shopping. Found a S&W 22A-1 for sale. The gun came with two mags. After I purchased and was escorted out I went to the car...went to a remote area of the lot and checked it out real quick.

    I had only one mag.

So I went back in..checked the gun in at the front was escorted the the Library to a fella in a small office. He asked what I wanted to do with the gun. I told him I just got it. Had two mags, now I only have one. He had me wait a minute, went in the back, grabbed one from a box and gave it to me. Saying "when we find the other we'll just put that one in the box." SO I went home happy with my two mags.

Well two days later. I get a package in the mail from Cabelas..In it is the actuall mag I was supposed to get.

The clerk found it under the register and tracked it down via paperwork and mailed it to me.

I thought that was great (extra mile) work done via the staff in all. The sale of the firearm, me needin' the mag and getting me one with out a fuss, and then a clerk finding one, knowing someone is missing it and did the research to find whom it goes too and mails it off.

just oustanding....I will do business with them again if the price is right for me, without question.

    Thought I'd share it.

OH!! the gun shoots AWESOME! Scary accurate. I put a Sightmark red dot on it and am nailing a 12oz can @ 50yards...with a pistol while standing! that's a new one for me. The groupings are tight. If I can steady myself I can hit the one inch bullseye on my ShootNC targets everytime at 30-40yards no bench resting.

Just a fun gun to shoot...now my wife makes excuses to go shoot it which she has never done before on any other firearm we own.

Did you return the extra mag?

No, I'll just spend more of my $$ there instead some where else I might get things cheaper. Like campin' gear, or ammo.

The wife and I were in Cabela's in Maine Saturday.
I bought 2 small folding knives 2.99 each. When I got home there were no knives in the bag.[2 hour ride]
I called the next day and to my surprise they are mailing 2 to me.

I have to quit going to the Cabela's in St. Louis. Everytime I go in there I spend $100. Best prices on ammo in St. Louis and ALWAYS has a very large inventory.
