I would like to see Colt go back into selling to the public. That would help bring the used market prices come down. And I may just buy another NEW ONE. Just a dream but what the hell.........

After some thinking....a more realistic request han a Glock MINI single stack.
A Kahr CW "micro" series. LIke a PM9/40, but in the CW Value package to bring down costs. That would be a seller.

Here is a Shot Show 2011 stunner for you: SIG is going to announce the return of the classic P210 !!
Why would SIG bring back such an old classic pistol design??
Here is a photo of the new pistol, which will feature a US style magazine release:
The gun will also be made available with these adjustable target sights installed:
SIG is apparently staying mum about how much the pistol will cost. Will anyone here want to get a brand new P210??
Here is a link to a report about this news:
http://gunsforsale.com/ghg/2010/12/22/sig-p210-is-back/
SIG will also be announcing the new SIG50 Rifle, in .50 BMG Here are some photos of the new rifle. Like the P210, though, Sig is not saying anything about price yet. Both of these guns will probably be very pricey.
.
The price list for the P210 is all ready about, about $2500-$3K if I recall...
Here it is, $2199 & $2399 for the 210
The 210 is widely considered the "Rolls Royce of 9mm autos". Known to be scary accurate and fit and finish is amazing.
That .50BMG rifle looks awesome.

Crimson Trace will be showing three new styles of 1911 Lasergrips at Shotshow to honor the 100th Anniversary of the 1911. These include grips with Chainmail, Carbon Fiber, and Walnut finishes.
Here is a photo of what the Chainmail grip will look like:
I would imagine that there will be a number of new 1911 pistols and accessories coming out this year, in honor of the Anniversary.
.
I like the chainmail.

Bring back the Baby Eagle/Jericho 941 with a finish that will not rub off by looking at it wrong.
A US made SVD (7.62x54r or 8mm) with a heavier barrel (non sporter version) for under $800. The PSL is nice, but the SVDs and clones look better with the full length upper and lower hand guards.
That Sig rifle does look nice. .338 Lapua option? On my wish list, but If I had the money, it's going to be an Accuracy International.
On hiatus.

I am in the market for a small 9 for carry in the Jersey Jungle so the single stack 9's are what I'm looking at.
Glock will disappoint (please prove me wrong) because it seems that they have lost touch and ground with their failure to rejuvenate their line up. Interchangeable backstraps are so 3 years ago. I would love for Glock to steal the show with a Kahr PM9 killer in the form a same specification (read size and weight) 6+1 single stack 9mm.
Ruger's LC9 may be the Belle of the Ball in the absence of a Glock announcement. Once over the hype people will realize they should have bought a Kahr PM9. IMO a manual safety and an internal lock are a step backwards, should have the same setup as the P380. Ruger history and price point will lead to a recall within 6 months.
While pretty sexy, Sig's P290 seems a tad too heavy. I am willing to give it a fair shake against a Kahr PM9.

Well, S&W is releasing 16 new 1911 variants this year for the 100th Anniversay of the 1911. Guns will be available in both .45 ACP and 9mm
Reports are saying that the pistols look quite sharp.
Smith and Wesson is also showing off the new M&P .22 LR pistol:
Walther is showing off their awesome new PPQ self-defense handgun:
Of course, Smith and Wesson's version of the Taurus Judge was on display, which they call the Governor:
Smith and Wesson is also showing off a new Performance Center revolver chambered in 17 HMR for varmint hunting. The pistol has a 15 inch barrel, and comes standard with a bipod.
A similar style Performance Center Model in 460 is being offered too:
S&W also showed a new Model 629 Hunter from their Performance Center:
