    As far as mods correct me if im wrong but its Illegal to add a front verticle grip and wire stock? because its considered a pistol is that correct?

    The stock would definitely be illegal due to the barrel length. Seem I remember something about the forward grip also being illegal but not 100% on that.

    Stock and fore-grip would both be illegal.

    IIRC, one (stock) makes it an SBR, the other (foregrip) makes it an AOW.

    Without the proper paperwork. It's not impossible to get in NC like some places, but it's not cheap either. Depending on what you want.

    Chiefjason can you point me in a direction here in NC to get paperwork or look into it?

    You may have to join to read the section on NFA firearms. But if it can be had in NC one of those guys probably has it, SBS, SBR, Suppressed, Full auto, and combinations of these. The guy I bought my G19 from let me look at his Rem 870 SBS. Pistol grip, overall length around 24". Looked like fun!
