I'm assuming it's a legit fully-automatic one? Very nice. How much did you give for it?

It appears to be a closed bolt, which leads me to believe it's a semi-auto.

Good looking piece of hardware ya got there. Cobray's are getting harder and harder to find too.

While those type of weapons are of limited use, they are a hoot and quite easy to bump fire. A front/barrel strap is useful for control during bump firing.

Not the most practical weapon in the world, but they do look like a lot of fun, congrats.

It is limited in use and not a defense weapon but just got to add to collection for fun shooting something different at the Range .

Bump firing is the act of using the recoil of a firearm to fire multiple shots in rapid succession.

Had one for a couple of years. Kinda fun to shoot, except the trigger will sting the heck out of your finger. It's considered a pistol and is pretty much worthless except to impress other folks at the range. Don't miss mine very much I have to say.

OBTW if you want to know about bump firing look it up on youtube.

In short you use the recoil of the weapon to bounce back off of your shoulder onto your finger again creating a full auto like rate of fire.

The newer versions have a piece of tubing slid over the trigger to keep it from biting. Just something to keep in mind if it happens. It's also pretty easy to add a short rail in front of the trigger, add a laser to that puppy and it would be a heck of a CQB weapon.

If it's manufactured by Cobray $265 is a steal and you could turn a profit on it right now!

Mine had that modification and it didn't help much. Never really shot it so much that I felt the need to find another fix for it, but there probably is something to mitigate it some more.

The older semi's IIRC fired from an open bolt and were fairly easy and illegal to convert to FA,problem with the semi version is when the bolt slammed shut to fire it knocked your POA off
