Study on the Importability of Certain Shotguns
Executive Summary
The purpose of this study is to establish criteria that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) will use to determine the importability of certain shotguns under the provisions of the Gun Control Act of 1968 (GCA).

I guess this is what I had heard about earlier this week that was possibly about Saiga 12's. Thanks for sharing.
Funny thing, I don't see the word "sporting" in the Bill of Rights.

The Saiga 12 is actually more in the spirit of the 2A than any hunting shotgun.
How can we get rid of this 'sporting' hump?
It is a favorite point among gun control advocates; that the public doesn't need to keep and bear arms for other than 'sporting' purposes.
