They do back up any guns gotten from them. The gun shop that gets the gun from them, has added his particular mark-up in the price you see, and so have the others... so price will vary between dealers.
Tend to be a touch higher in price than some places on some things, and not on others..... don't know if that's the dealers or Davidson's doing it.

I have bought two guns through Davidson's a handgun and rifle. Would do it again in a heartbeat, took about 7-10 days to get the guns plus they have a great warranty above and beyond the original gun warranty.
