Not a very good article. Guy makes a lot of statements that have been discussed and argued about in detail in hundreds of thousands of posts on the subject. For instance, take this part:
That's an assertion, but it is not backed up with fact, analysis, or reference to the wide commentary already extent on the matter. It reads like something a not-very-bright teenager banged out on his blog after bedtime. "Missiles"? Why stop there? The government has nuclear bombs. Guess that means we should have them, too. And biological weapons. And aircraft carriers...
Everything from slingshots to missiles to laser rifles is forbidden to the government to restrict. And that right exists primarily so that we may defend ourselves against the government if it becomes necessary, with the same level of force that the government can employ.

I liked it. Didnt think there were any radical statements or get the vibe that a teenager wrote it. I thought it was well thought out and mature. It makes sense.

This was a good editorial, and as far as I'm concerned those who criticize it as though it was written by some teenager just don't understand the purpose of 2A.
