UHhhhh......... that won't cure that particular problem.

This is something that I'll follow as closely as I can.

I'm getting older, but if I remember correctly there are a multitude of ways to commit suicide. Take the guns away and they will use another method. The reason they use a gun is they feel that it will be relatively painless and fast. They should see some of the attempted suicides that do not get the job done, that we have had to respond to. They wind up spending the rest of their lives as a near vegetable, fully conscious of what they have done, but now being unable to finish the process.

So.............325 suicides plus or minus annually with guns, and they have a referendum on this?

A survey last month by the respected polling group gfs.bern found a narrow majority of 47 percent in favor of the proposal, with 45 percent opposed. About 8 percent of voters were undecided, according to a telephone poll of 1,209 voters.

The survey found 55 percent of women in favor, plus a majority of Swiss under 40. If both groups have a strong turn out, the measure is expected to pass.

"Our victory depends strongly on being able to mobilize women and young people," says Karin Jenni of Switzerland's Alliance for the Protection against Gun Violence.

This suicide group is intellectually and morally bankrupt and I hope the Swiss don't listen to their foolishness.

If people are committing suicide then I'd say find out why they are committing suicide. Restricting or banning gun usage won't stop the suicides.

This is just another example of the lack of common sense of anti-gunners.

How would you like to live in a country where roughly four million people could vote to end your most fundamental rights?

The country voted to keep their RKBA rather handily. At least this time. But the antis do seem to be gaining ground over there even as they seem to be losing it here. This serves to show us that while our side, the side of logic, is up right now, that may not be the case in a few years. This is why we have to stay on the ball and keep educating people and keep getting more new shooters involved in the shooting sports and in self defense in general.
