What type of shooting will you be doing? Competition? Is it a carry pistol? Please specify in what manner it will be used and I think that you'll get some well thought our responses.

Bud, I voted what I want to buy. I want a .38 Super so bad I can taste it. The two-tone is nice, but hard chrome is just so sleek looking and will last. If you get one I want one of the puppies :image035: .

Only the defender would be for carry well say its a just cuz 1911 hows that ..

Added Gold Cups to the poll .. funny looking though the colt 2006 hard catalog i have here at home the gunsite pistols aren't listed anymore gonna have to make call to dealer tomm to see if there available

To bad the gunsight has the small trigger, cause I would definatly go for that if it didnt. So Ill vote for the two tone Colt Special Combat 45acp.

I love my Gold Cup. I don't know much about the other 1911's so my vote might be a little short-sighted, but I would go with the Gold Cup.

I voted for the Gunsite Stainless....but, it was a tough vote for me.

I voted for the Colt defender, its my favorite!

I voted for the Gunsite stainless as it's my understanding that Colt's no longer makes the Gunsite model.

man....those .38 supers' are sooooo sweet !..... definitely my pick.
