Just curious have any of you seen or handled the new Browning 1911-22? I'm giving consideration to attempting to get one this year. They are marked in a commemorative manner for the first year only for the 100th anniversary of the 1911. It appears to take down just as a 1911 should. With it being Browings first 1911 and a 100 year model makes me kind of want one. One can hope that by Browing calling attention to it being there first that maybe a .45 is in the pipeline for later. There are no limited numbers that I can find anywhere so it would likely never be special to anyone except me, but isn't that the point? So far my LGS can't even order it, but told me to check back mid March, which I intend to do.
