West German Sig P228 or Beretta 90-Two

Howdy all just looking for some opinions on if a West German
Sig is worth trading for a Beretta 90-Two. I'm not sure if this is the place
    for this if not sorry.

From your post, I can't tell if you have the Sig or the Beretta.
Either way, I'd definitely go with/stick with... the old p228.
Absolutely love mine. Wouldn't part with it.
(And I'm not too fond of Berettas anyway.)

    Sig.
A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle.

My bad I have the sig. It's a touch small for my
Hands and I have always liked beretta's.

I would not let the P228 go, especially for a Beretta. Of course that's just me, the P228 is a great gun.

I would not trade. The Beretta is a good gun, but I would not give up a 228 for it.

Keep the Sig. If the short grip really bugs you that much get a couple of 18 round Mec-Gar P226 magazines with X-Grip adapters. Not saying that is an improvement on the perfection that is the P288, just another way of interpreting it.

Keep the 228 it is a much better gun IMO. No way it would go for a Beretta. Love mine.

Same here. While the Beretta's are good guns, I love my Sigs.

Please keep the SIG, The 228 is supposed to have the best ergonomics of all the 9s.

If you need bigger, change grips. Hogue handalls or fingergroove grips are available for the 228.

OR you could look for a P226.

Bottom line is to find what works best for you, preferably without trading down to an inferior design.

I am a huge Beretta fan. Hell, I have 8 of them. But, I don't like the 90-Two. I gave it another chance last year, but I just hate the polymer grip. It is too slick, and there are no after market options short of a rubber slip on grip.

I finally sold mine recently and used the $ to go towards a compact model...

I'd get a Beretta with a normal grip. If the grip doesn't bother you, however - it is a nice gun.
