    buying a handgun in AZ

I tried searching, but couldn't find a sure answer to a question I had. I'm new AZ gun laws (used to the rediculous CA laws) about buying a handgun. I have heard from a few people that you have to have had your ID for at least 3 months before you are allowed to buy a handgun. I have also heard that this only applies to non US citizens here on a visa. I am looking to buy a LCP and don't want to go looking and get my hopes up if I can't get it yet. Does anyone know the correct answer about having to wait 3 months? Thanks

If you are a US citizen, you can purchase a handgun on the day you get an Arizona driver license.
The preceding post may contain sarcasm; it's just better that way. However, it is still intended with construction and with the Love of my L-rd Y'shua.

Ok so here is the answer. With valid ID you can buy no problem, the 90 day thing only applies to resident aliens with an ID card. Also I am now the proud owner of a new LCP

    AZ is the bomb

If ya got a permit, then you can skip the NICS nonsense, too.
